Asbestos in Buildings:
Work Practices for Operations and Maintenance Personnel - 2 Days
Offered on a contract basis at your site, minimum class size required
This 16-hour (two-day) course is designed to meet the OSHA and EPA requirements for those who work around asbestos and may need to do minor repairs and removal of asbestos-containing materials. The course topics include: potential health effects, a review of regulations, use of protective clothing and respirators, a discussion of safety issues, abatement options and methods, glovebag demonstration, emergency response activities, and minor abatement activities.
