Level 2 Introduction to Design is a two-day course for both plan reviewers and design professionals. Topics included in this course include design and review of Erosion, Sedimentation, and Pollution Control Plans.  This course is approved by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission and is taught by a certified trainer.  This course includes an exam administered by an approved proctor.  A government issued photo I.D. must be presented to take the exam.

To obtain the "Certified Design Professional" certification you must:

  1. Have professional licensure in the field of engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, forestry, geology, land surveying or CPESC
  2. Attend an approved Level 2 Seminar
  3. Pass the Level 2 certification exam 
  4. Submit appropriate application (provided in course)

To obtain the "Certified Plan Reviewer" certification you must:

  1. Have at least 6 months work experience in the field of erosion and sediment control or obtain a Level 1B certification
  2. Attend an approved Level 2 Seminar
  3. Pass the Level 2 certification exam
  4. Submit appropriate application (provided in course)
