The past year has seen many new standards and guidelines relating to mold and moisture in buildings. The AIHA, IICRC and Health
Canada have all issued new guidance, and others are under development. While no federal regulations specific to mold have been promulgated, several states are moving forward with their own. New studies from the
medical community have been published, and litigation appears to be expanding. New developments are also emerging in inspection, sampling and remediation practices. This course is designed for participants with a
basic understanding of mold and moisture inspection and remediation.
