Lead Risk Assessor Refresher

EPA and many states require Lead risk assessors to attend update/refresher courses every two or three years.
This 1-day course will review the major content of the initial 2-day Lead Risk Assessor course as well as provide an update of regulatory requirements and interpretations and risk assessment procedures. Course
topics include: background information on Lead, health effects of lead exposure, review and update of state and federal Lead regulatory requirements, legal and insurance considerations, Lead inspection
procedures, sampling issues (soil, dust, water, paint chip & XRF), Lead hazard screens, multi-family risk assessments and control options.
The course also includes a workshop on inspection/risk assessment data evaluation and report writing.
Note: This course currently only carries approval in the State of Georgia and Alabama.
Federal and additional state approvals are forthcoming.
